Meet the Founder

Dr. Shamva Wright-Shingler, a native of Bishopville, SC, 1997 graduate of Bishopville High School, 2001 graduate of Claflin University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, a 2006 graduate of Sherman College of Chiropractic.

She is a Chiropractor, a Program Director for The School of Health Professions in White Plains, NY, a mentor, and an entrepreneur owning two business. Because of her love for traveling, she is also the owner of Wright Away Travel, an Independent Travel Agency.

Sharing her knowledge and watching others excel in the healthcare industry has always been her passion. To that end, she is also the Founder and CEO of Melanated Minds LLC, a certification review business dedicated to preparing allied health professionals for certification success.

Healthcare has always held a special place in her heart therefore she considers herself a lifelong learner. One of her favorite quotes is by Oliver Windell Holmes, A man’s mind stretched by a new idea never goes back to its original dimensions. She believes that it’s her calling to educate others on the importance of proper healthcare, which why she started this Nonprofit organization, All Shades of Wellness Inc.

She is very active in her community, a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., and the membership and scholarship chairperson for the NY Metro Alumni Association of Claflin University.

Shamva has received a number of certificates, awards and certifications. Her latest certifications were in Infection Control and Disease Prevention, Violence Prevention and Awareness, Perinatal Issues, and Women’s Health. She is also a Subject Matter Expert in the Allied Health Industry and is certified through AMT ( American Medical Technologies), National Healthcare Association (NHA) and National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
